Apprenticeships
As a Lotus apprentice, you will be working as a valued team member whilst studying and gaining a recognised qualification. We offer apprenticeships across a variety of disciplines and from a Level 3 up to Level 6 (Degree). Our commitment to your success includes dedicated support to ensure your progression aligns with the necessary work experiences that complement your educational journey.
Work experience
Aged 14-18 years? Join USLOT for a four-day, immersive work experience at our Lotus Learning Academy, in Norwich. You'll engage in hands-on activities within our Simulated Working Environment, participate in team-building challenges, and gain insights from industry professionals. Additionally, we'll help you develop essential work-ready skills through CV workshops and mock interviews.
INTERNSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATES
INTERNSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATES We host 1 year paid internships to support a range of degrees. During your placement, you will build on your academic learning with practical workplace experience. It’s also an opportunity to network and make great connections that can support you going forward.
'GO BEYOND' GRADUATE PROGRAMME
We have a range of graduate opportunities across the business. This programme is a chance to work on meaningful projects from the outset. This is a permanent position giving you exposure across Lotus and the opportunity to work with our talented team. We are also looking for talented and motivated individuals who share our values and ambitions to build on our legacy.

I gave up my place at university for an apprenticeship at Lotus. I made the right choice, my apprenticeship provides me with a great balance of academic learning and vital hands-on experience in the workplace. Being a part of real projects and discussions has been extremely beneficial to me and is experience I wouldn’t have gained without this apprenticeship. Hethel hosts our race track, engineering functions, and the newly established Chapman Production Centre. This centre of excellence is renowned for its world-class standards and is presently engaged in crafting the Emira, Lotus's ultimate petrol-powered masterpiece.
The Chapman Production Centre stands as one of the world's most advanced low-volume automotive manufacturing facilities, with a capacity to produce approximately 5,000 cars annually.
Featuring a cutting-edge paint shop equipped with automated processes, and robots - including primer, colour, and clear coat application, it ensures an unparalleled finish, efficient throughput, and flawless consistency for our vehicles.
