Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Lotus Cars Limited serves as the company’s manufacturing HQ in the UK, where we proudly produce iconic models such as the Emira and the all-electric Evija. As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join our dynamic Manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hethel.
Summary:
The Quality Inspector will provide technical support, from a production/quality perspective, in the resolution of production DPV. This is accomplished through the completion of reports/assessments/studies and the development of processes/WES. Responsible for reacting to production DPV concerns with the aim of containing or implementing a permanent countermeasure in a structured time efficient manner. OP to be directed by Manufacturing Quality Supervision/Manager.
What you'll do:
Work in a team environment in a constructive timely manner to resolve production DPV, detailed overview of defects and corrective actions.
Conduct studies to provide Root Cause Analysis and assistance in the resolution of product and process concerns.
Communicate/Document process-related changes to cross-functional teams to a high level.
Develop, manage, and provide support for troubleshooting to ensure a focus on Pareto resolution of high priority DPV concerns.
Participate in the development of shop floor processes to ensure that defined corrective actions are permanent.
Perform multi-disciplined studies with other departments, drive improvements for in-house improvement measures.
Assist in responding to Field Control actions in an appropriate and timely manner.
Understand and follow detailed work instructions relating to 4P’s and process audits to confirm WES is fit for purpose.
Ensure that all tasks set are completed in the required timescale. Support line Supervision with adhering to defect closure dates.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Understand and adhere to the Lotus ROAD behaviours.
What you'll bring:
