As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a PMO Lead to join our dynamic PMO team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hethel.

Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for the new role within the Programme Management Office Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Project Management of small and medium sized programmes, including the generation and management of multiple vehicle and external project plans. Details of this include overall timing, cost, and quality metrics, as well as reporting out to the Programme and senior teams with KPIs, risk and issues, maintaining momentum and achieving delivery of programme.
The ideal candidate will also be required to build and manage project health tracking systems & support multiple projects, by engaging with other departments and Project Managers, to capture inputs to support gateways and milestones packs.
What you'll do:
Main responsibilities to be lead through the team:
• Project Management of small and medium sized projects from KO (Kick Off) through to FSR (Final Status Report)
• Being an expert in MSP to capture and track project expenditures against project targets. Leading the MSP and expenditures. Being adaptable to project tracking methods to continuously improve on efficiency.
• Monitor and report out the aligned financial status of the project and generate the metrics for review at project meetings and senior reviews.
• Project monitoring and reporting of progress against the plan inclusive of mitigation activities. Lead Risk Management aspects
• Lead launch build phases ensuring robustness of KPIs with stakeholders.
• Hands on lead during builds on the shopfloor.
• Lead LCL Strategic Alliance Responsibilities
• Leading data analysis for multiple projects.
• Project Master schedule – Manage multiple project plans and report out statuses to the management team.
• Generate Financial metrics Project Investment/budget – Monitor and report out the aligned financial status of the project and generate the metrics for review at project meetings and senior reviews.
• A hands-on problem solver who can identify concerns relating the programme delivery (from scoping to execution).
• Lead preparation for build phases, create and implement mitigation plans, ensuring a capable and successful launch during all build phases.
• Identify and resolve/escalate issues preventing a go no go decision into business level milestones.
• Be a lead in continuous improvements for LPDS. Growing our central documentation and processes across the business in an aim to standardise our way of working in line with Lotus Tech.
• Work collaboratively across internal and external programme teams to support delivery
What you'll bring:
• Experience in managing teams, business processes, documentation, and similar projects in a Engineering degree or relevant qualification / applied experience.
• Programme management skills, delivered within an Engineering & Manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing/Operation environment experience.
• Analytical, methodical & team focused.
• Lead large cross functional groups to achieve project goals
• Experienced with engineering or programme management of automotive components and systems.
• Thorough attention to detail.
• Must be proactive, a good communicator, have excellent attention to detail, be a team player & leader.
• Take a one team attitude to creating and driving success.
• Good communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing and financial control.
• Detail-oriented.

Additional Information:
• This role will be working from our Hethel plant within our flexible working policy - 3 days per week on-site.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
