As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a Lead Data Analysis to join our dynamic Quality team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hethel.
Summary:
This role is crucial to deliver class leading product to Lotus customers. You will be part of an agile team responsible for capturing analytical requirements and collating, summarising and reporting insights to meet those requirements and enable data driven decision making.
The role requires interpersonal skills throughout the company and suppliers, with a Customer First approach to every activity. This role also embraces new technologies where appropriate to meet business and user requirements in the most efficient way.
What you'll do:
• Business and Data analysis
• Working cross-functionally, elicit data collation, analysis and reporting requirements to create business and user cases
• Develop and deliver initiatives and solutions to meet those requirements
• Work closely with Lotus IT to understand, leverage and improve systems, tools and data available within the organisation and our suppliers
• Consult with all areas of the business and external stakeholders to continually improve and adapt to changing requirements and new business developments
• Take the lead and develop AI initiatives for the quality department, to improve data collection, widen analysis and deliver process efficiencies
• Train and cross skill colleagues and stakeholders on data and business analysis basics
• Share best practice across the organisation to foster a data driven focus and decision-making culture
What you'll bring:
Essential:
• Degree Qualifications in relevant field.
• Previous understanding of Automotive manufacturing favourable but not essential
• Advanced SQL & Analytics Engineering – Expert in Microsoft SQL Server, writing complex SQL queries (CTEs, window functions, multi-table joins) and performing data transformations and aggregations to create analytics-ready datasets and scalable data models.
• Dimensional Data Modeling & Warehousing – Understanding of and experience with star schemas (fact and dimension tables), defining relationships, and collaborating with data engineers to build performant data warehouse structures for BI and analytics use cases.
• Power BI, DAX, Power Query & Data Visualization – Advanced Power BI skills including efficient data modeling, advanced DAX measure development, Power Query transformations, and building intuitive, interactive dashboards aligned to business questions and visualization
• Self-starter, able to work under own initiative.
• Capability to operate under pressure. Must be able to demonstrate a proactive approach.

• Open to new challenges and able to adapt to fast-paced changes.
• Analytical, structured, confident, with excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written).
• Skilled at forming cross-functional relationships with excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable
• Applied Machine Learning (Low-Code Platforms) – Hands-on experience building end-to-end ML solutions in a low-code platform or using Python, covering feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment for classification, clustering, and regression problems.
• NLP & LLM-Based Solutions – Practical experience applying NLP techniques (text preprocessing, bag-of-words, embeddings) and integrating LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, LLaMA) for tasks such as classification, semantic clustering, summarization, and automation

Additional Information:
This role will be required to work on site 2/3 days per week. This role is based from our HQ in Hethel, but could be based at our office in Coventry for the right candidate.
Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
