ASO - Procurement and Dealer Liaison Manager

Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Procurement and Dealer Liaison Manager in the Aftersales Department, to join us at our site in Costessey, Norfolk.
Summary:
The ASO Procurement and Dealer Liaison Manager will be required to lead both our supplier and customer facing functions.
This role will provide an oversight to the Material Planning and Purchasing teams, to ensure goods and services are planned and purchased, to support our global network of dealers, whilst leading the Dealer Liaison team.
The ideal candidate will act as the communication bridge between LCL and the dealer networks, facilitating smooth operations by relaying information, resolving issues, and ensuring the highest standards of customer care, whilst also ensuring robust profit controls are in place.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the Aftersales Purchasing, Planning and Dealer Liaison teams.
- Ensure forecast accuracy and optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor the current parts inventory usage, status and pricing, to maintain profitability.
- Management of Part supersession and replaced by parts.
- Lead the sourcing and tender evaluation with suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers with the Supplier Quality team, to ensure the supplier meets our requirements.
- Provide outstanding technical support and build successful long-term relationships with the approved dealers, by troubleshooting and investigating problems, prioritising and escalating issues, managing and optimising issue workflows, and proactively identifying support needs.
- Be the first and last line of defense and protect the business against financial loss and risk, such as reputational risk and profit erosion.
- Analyse the Sales Orders, Returns, and Invoicing data, to identify trends and communicate actionable insights, to internal and external teams.
- Maintain assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Customer Satisfaction.
- Improve internal efficiencies by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance performance and customer service.
- Review and improve processes and procedures.
- Develop, lead and manage KPIs, to measure performance.
- Ensure compliance to internal and external audit requirements.
- Foster and lead a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- MCIPS, working towards or willing to work towards this qualification.
- Experienced in automotive manufacturing operations.
- Highly experienced in SAP S4 Hana and WMS applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and acumen.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
- Strong people/performance management skills.
- Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Able to make systematic and logical judgements.
- Strong self-management skills, including organisation, planning, and self-motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, to maintain strong relationships with dealers and teammates.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight and internationally.
- Highly experienced in automotive part procurement.
- Highly communicative, with the ability to form and maintain effective business relationships.
Desirable:
- MBA / Masters / Post Graduate Qualification.

Additional Information:
This role will involve the following work pattern:
Week 1: Monday - Thursday: 08:15am - 5.15pm
Friday - 08:15am - 12:15pm
Week 2: Monday - Thursday: 09:00am - 5.15pm
Friday - 09:00am - 4:30pm
