Quality Management Systems Manager

Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Quality Management Systems Manager in the Quality Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary:
The role of QMS and business process manager bridges across all areas of the Global Lotus business and is designed to ensure Lotus is compliant to International QMS and other global standards i.e. ISO, Cyber Security, CCC, VCA, RDW while ensuring Quality aspects of new business systems are delivered and maintained to plan. This is a key role within Quality and includes the responsibility to create and deliver the systems and strategy across all areas of the company which involves regular comms with exec team members and parent companies. A proven team leader and strategic thinking manager from automotive or relevant industry.
What you'll do:
- Ensure Group Lotus’ adherence and ongoing certification to international and environmental standards including but not limited to: ISO 9001/14001, CSMS, CCC, VCA, RDW.
- Manage and lead external audits from all certification groups.
- Manage daily running of the internal audit team.
- Manage internal and external Non conformance’s.
- Lead and deliver the Quality related aspects of the new business systems.
- Maintain, refine & develop the new and current business systems including BOS & QMS.
- Provide quality leadership and guidance to new business system project teams.
- Manage and develop the team to ensure business objectives are achieved on time and on budget.
- Manage and lead lean initiatives including meeting the company wide 5s target and introducing value stream mapping.
- Ensure that company Quality related processes are harmonised and standardised to assist with compliance and improve efficiency.
- Produce and present key metrics and KPI’s to Exec director level.
- Create and manage annual plans and budgeting.
What you'll bring:
- Automotive QMS experience
- Previous experience within a quality role
- Confident with using MS software, Excel, word, PowerPoint etc.
- Excellent communicator
- Full Driving License
- Customer focused

- Analytical and data driven
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team

- This role will be working from our Working at Hethel, LAS & Wellesbourne sites, within our flexible working policy.
