Junior Vehicle Technician

Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Junior Vehicle Technician in the Vehicle Workshops Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary:
The role involves being responsible for the demands of the business to deliver to works schedules.
There may be a necessity to carry out shift work and/or working off site.
What You'll Do:
- Be able to take clear written or verbal instructions and perpetrate, in accordance with the job scope.
- Assist the Lead Technician (or Build Engineer) with prototype builds.
- Be responsible for specific allocated areas of the manufacture/strip/build/test project scope.
- Carry out tasks as efficiently / effectively as possible, in conjunction with other departments.
- Assist with the Press car preparations and presentations.
What You'll Bring:
- Automotive experience within a workshop environment.
- BTEC National or equivalent NVQ level 2.
- Excellent communication & PC skills.
- Experience of working as part of a team in a workshop environment.
- Full Driving license.

Additional Information:
- This role will be working from our Hethel plant.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
