Security Officer
Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world.
Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Security Officer to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary
To demonstrate a level of professionalism which will reflect the values and behaviours expected within the business. To maintain a level of security which will ensure the overall welfare & protection of the Lotus premises, its physical assets, employees, visitors and contractors alike. To prevent and detect theft, fire, flood or damage be it criminal or otherwise whether sourced from within or outside of the premises.
Role Objectives
- To prevent unauthorised access to Lotus premises.
- To prevent loss and or damage through fire, flood, or criminal means.
- To respond to / investigate Fire Alarm activations and liaise with emergency services when required.
- To conduct Security patrols as directed and monitor CCTV as directed.
- To regularly inspect all physical security measures and report when compromised.
Scope
A background within the industrial security sector is preferred along with first aid training.
Knowledge
- Background of working in the security industry, preferably in the commercial sector.
- Security related qualifications/training.
- IT literate.
- Health & Safety (Desirable)
- First Aid (Desirable)
Other
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willing to work a rotating shift pattern covering days, nights, weekends & Bank Holidays.
- Successful candidate will be DBS and criminal records disclosure checked.
