Design Change Co-Ordinator

Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Design Change Co-Ordinator in the Production, Planning & Control Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary:
This role will allow the successful candidate to develop a broad understanding of the construction of a Lotus Car, working closely with and gaining an understanding of other departments and how they fit within the organisation.
What You'll Do:
- Support the Design Change Control meetings and maintenance of corresponding DCC data.
- Approval of Product Change Orders for Design Change Control, verifying part numbers/ parameter details and setting up master data in the ERP system.
- Setting of implementation dates, considering change criticality/ obsolescence issues.
- Capture of the actual change point at which the design changes were made within the production.
- Take an active role in defining new working processes and supporting systems.
What You'll Bring:
- HNC or similar in a Manufacturing/ Engineering related subject.
- Understanding of BoM structures.
- Understanding of Inventory Control practices.
- Microsoft Office knowledge and use of ERP/ MRP systems.
- Experience of using database software.

Additional Information:
- This role will be working from our Hethel plant within our flexible working policy.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
