Critical Process Technician

Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Critical Process Technician in the Facilities Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary:
The role involves working nights at the weekend; 3 12 hour shifts, Friday – Sunday.
The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Critical Process Supervisor. The Critical Process Technician’s role is to ensure that Paint, Quality & SHE standards are maintained, filters and filter medias are changed, according to frequencies and general cleaning of the area.
What You'll Do:
- Playing a proactive role in supporting the Critical Process Supervisor, ensuring that cleaning & filter changes are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Supervising and guiding the other operators within the Lotus team, as well as the Churchill Cleaning Services staff
- Ensuring the Lotus paint shop processes and procedures are maintained
- Ensuring all operators are working in line with the Lotus Health and Safety management systems
- Supporting the Robot Technician with basic maintenance tasks
What You'll Bring (Experience with the following):
- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained
- Maintaining the Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Highlighting and reporting abnormalities
- Auditing the spray booths, to ensure that they are working at the correct time and temperature
- Adhering to safety procedures, permits to work and protocols

Additional Information:
- This role will be working from our Hethel plant.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
