Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Senior Engineer - Motorsport Customer Support (Dynamics & Mechanical) in the Attributes Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated customer facing track support engineer, to join Lotus Motorsport at Hethel and trackside, at international race events.

What You'll Do:

• Reporting to the Project Manager on a programme, you will be a key contributor to the track-side operation.
  
• As a customer facing representative of the company, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, engaging confidently and knowledgeably.
  
• Extensive travel to International and/or European events.
  
• Between track events, the role will include all aspects of project support onsite at our Hethel based facility.

What You'll Bring:

• • Experience in a similar role, at a professional motorsport level.
    
  • Proficient with motorsport vehicle dynamics & race car engineering.
    
  • Knowledge of motorsport vehicle electronics, data logging and telemetry from Motec.
    
  • High competency level with PC / typical software - MS Office (particularly Excel), Matlab, etc.
    
  • Customer facing skills & excellent organisation skills.

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Hethel plant.
• Frequent travel will be required to visit different entities and the Customer Care Center based in Europe. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
